Thursday June3rd to Sunday June 6th

Just a quickie post to cover our visit to our daughter Alison, her husband Ed, and their 3 children Josie (14), Rosalind (12) and Isaac (10), in the rambling Victorian mansion at Headley, Hampshire, that the family moved into a couple of months ago.

For Lois and me, this was our big break-out from over a year of lockdown isolation, when we've been rattling around our big house, just the two of us. Suddenly we found ourselves in with a household of 5 plus us, pretty much talking non-stop, and also not worrying about COVID at all, beyond the usual hygiene rules that apply pandemic or not. It was really tiring at first, but we came home feeling more normal that we've done for a very long time, which was nice, to put it mildly!
