Saturday is my and Lois' last day
in Haslemere, where we have spent about 5 days with our daughter Alison and her
family.
08:00 Ed, our son-in-law, along
with two of his and Alison's 3 children, Rosalind (11) and Isaac (9) have to
leave early. Isaac is playing in a local football tournament today, and has to
play a number of matches.
Our son-in-law Ed
09:30 Lois and I, along with
Alison and her eldest child, Josie, who turns 13 in a week, drive over to
Wisley to visit the famous gardens over there: an interesting sculpture
exhibition is also taking place.
On Sunday, Lois and I drive back
to Cheltenham - and life begins to return to normal again for a few weeks.
22:00 We go to bed in our own bed
for the first time in 11 days or thereabouts – I read about 20 pages of my
bedtime book before I drift off to sleep – zzzzzzzzzzz!!!!
