Dearman synger den gamle tudesang ”The Man That Got Away”
i Tewkesbury, hun vil deltage i.

English translation
17:00 I go out in the
garden and I start to mow the lawn, located in front of the house, and the one
which is right behind the house. I leave till tomorrow the two lawns, that are
located at the bottom of the backyard.
18:00 We eat dinner and
then spend the evening watching TV. They show the evening's BBC Proms concert
broadcast live from Albert Hall, London.
We enjoy hearing so many
Gershwin songs which we know so well, and also some songs that we are less
familiar with.

22:00 We go to bed -
zzzzzz !!!!
6:00 I get up early and
do one of my routine Danish vocabulary tests. I look a little on the internet
and I see that our younger daughter Sarah, and Francis, her husband slept last
night for the first time in their new house in Yanchep, a small suburb of
Perth, Australia. But they have more work they need to do today and tomorrow
(for example, transport of furniture, etc.) before they can relax - my
goodness! We hope to be able to talk to Sarah tomorrow - she has a day off work.
07:30 I hurry into the
kitchen and make two cups of tea. I bring the tea up to our bedroom. We lie in
bed and drink the tea. We take a shower and then eat breakfast.
10:45 Lois has to go
off. There are two services that are taking place today in Tewkesbury, that she
wants to take part in. I go out in the backyard and mow the two lawns, that are
located at the bottom of the garden.
12:00 I start to write an email in Hungarian to my Hungarian woman-friend, Tünde, who lives in Budapest. Unfortunately I am very rusty and I have trouble finding the right words - oh dear!

16:00 I get up. Lois
comes home. But there is no time to rest - we need to go to Tewkesbury, because
our friend, Andy, has invited members of Lois's church for a barbecue this
evening. I have enjoyed my time alone today but now I'm feeling a bit nervous. Is it just me that doesn't care for parties????
