ha!
i!!
og laver to kopper te.
ungarsk i en time.
bryggerset.
terrassen.
English translation
18:00 We eat dinner and then use the evening to watch TV.
They show University Challenge and Only Connect, two of the few television
programs that are not suitable for the very stupid ha ha ha!
21:00 We continue to watch TV. They show
"Victoria" (Part 2 of 6), a drama series, which is about the young
Queen Victoria. Melbourne, the young prime minister who Victoria secretly
fancies, threatens to resign after his Whig government wins, only by a small
margin, a parliamentary vote that made slavery illegal in Jamaica - my
goodness, what a crazy world we live in! !
Victoria does not like the Tory party leadership (Peel,
Wellington, etc. - they are all old men and not very attractive - oh dear!), And she
shudders to think of the consequences if she must cooperate with a Tory
Government - my goodness! What a madness!
22:00 We go to bed - zzzzz !!!!
5:00 I get up early and do one of my routine Danish
vocabulary tests. Afterwards I hurry into the kitchen and make two cups of tea.
I bring them up to our bedroom. We lie in bed and drink the tea. We get up and eat breakfast.
09:30 Lois has to be off. She has an appointment at
Specsavers Optik, located in the middle of town, to get an eye test.
10:00 My friend, "Magyar" Mike arrives and we
study Hungarian for an hour. We are both very rusty because we have not had one
of our "Hungarian hours" for several months - the last time was
before Lois and I flew to Australia in April .
11:00 Mike has to be off. I call Tim, our friendly local
plumber, because we have a problem with our toilet in the utility room. There
is never enough water in the cistern for flushing - oh dear!
13:00 I hurry into the kitchen and make lunch. Lois comes
home and we eat lunch. The optician told her that her cataracts have grown, and
he will try to book an appointment on her behalf at the local hospital - oh
dear!
13:15 Tim arrives and repairs the toilet.
14:00 I go to bed and take a long nap - zzzzz !!!!!
15:00 I get up and we relax with a cup of tea on the
terrace.
