Sne i dag i København, sne først i
det 19. århundrede i Rusland– du godeste!

osv!
stil – nam nam nam!

18:30 Dinner and afterwards we spend the evening watching TV. They show the
third episode of "War and Peace" on BBC1. Pierre shoots and injures one of his wife's lovers, Dolokhov, in a duel, but he comes home and finds her with another of her lovers. My goodness! What a woman! Such goings-on!

22:00 We go to bed. I read seven pages of my bedtime-book, "William
Pitt the Younger" by William Hague, and then I slide into sleep - zzzzz
sounds fill our bedroom!
03:45 I get up early and I look a little on the Internet. I see charming
pictures of Alison, our oldest daughter, Ed, her husband, and their three
children, Josie (9 years), Rosalind (7 years) and Isaac (5 years), who were
starting to enjoy the snow yesterday in the local park, Bernstorff Castle
Gardens. Snow today in Copenhagen, snow in the early 19th century in Russia- my
goodness! Lois and I are lucky because we live in 2016 in Cheltenham - I know
that for sure!

09:30 The postman comes with Sarah's identity documents from Australia
(hurray!), So we go to the local post office and send to her legal
representatives in Poundbury all the documents we have, that concern the sale
of Sarah's old apartment in Cheltenham.
12:00 We talk on Skype with Sarah, our youngest daughter, Francis, Sarah's
husband, and their 2.5-year-old twins, Lily and Jessica. The call quality is
not that good, possibly because they have not yet got a broadband connection.
But it is clear to see that the twins are very excited to see us and show us
their artwork, toys and new pajamas etc!
We skype with Sarah and her little family, but
the call quality is not very good - oh dear!
13:30 We eat lunch. Lois has made some sandwiches in the Danish style - yum
yum yum!

14:00 I go to bed and take a long nap - zzzzzz !!!
15:30 I get up and we relax with a cup of tea on the sofa.
16:00 We go for a short walk in the neighborhood, up to the racecourse's
back entrance and back again. Unfortunately I cannot use my smartphone's
MapMyWalk app because the battery needs to be recharged - damn!
